Qingshui Cliff is a 21 kilometer length of coastal cliffs averaging 800 meters above sea level in Xiulin Township, Hualien County, Taiwan. The tallest peak, Qingshui Mountain, rises 2408 meters directly from the Pacific Ocean.

Taroko Gorge
Taroko Gorge is famous for its spectacular mountains and marble canyons. Cliffs and canyons stretch along Liwu River. Four million years ago, the island of Taiwan was formed by the collision of plates. After millions of years of wind erosion, the marble rocks were exposed and cut by Liwu River, creating impressive grand canyons.

Shakadang Trail
Shakadang Trail is also known as "Mysterious Valley Trail". This trail is built along the river cliff, so travelers can easily observe both the rock folds and plant ecosystem beside in the river valley.

Yanzihkou Trail (Swallow Grotto)
Tarako Gorge is formed by downward erosion from Liwu River. This part of Tarako Gorge is composed of marble cliff faces covered with small holes, the result of long-term erosion by river and ground water. House swifts and Pacific swallows often forage and nest here, giving the place its name: Swallow Grotto (Yanzihkou). From trail built along Liwu River Valley, you will enjoy breathtaking view because Swallow Grotto is the narrowest part of Tarako Gorge.

Baiyang Trail
Baiyang Trail is the most inside trail of Taroko National Park. A hidden gem and worth a visit. Not too much tour agency operate the tour to Baiyang Trail as it's far from the central area.

Tunnel of Nine Turns Trail
Tunnel of Nine Turns The 1,220m-long Tunnel of Nine Turns (Jiuqudong) Tunnel is the longest tunnel of the Central Cross-Island Highway, while the 700 meters long Tunnel of Nine Turns (Jiuqudong) Trail is the best part of Taroko Gorge. The trail snuggles against the tall mountain and deep gorge. If you look down, you will see Liwu River gushing swiftly past the mountain walls facing each other so closely. You will be astonished at the craftsmanship of nature that has created these treacherous terrains.

Eternal Spring Shrine
Eternal Spring Shrine is built to commemorates the 226 personnel (military veterans) who died during the construction of the Central Cross-Island Highway.
