What To Expect

Shilin Official Residence

Meet your tour guide and driver at MRT Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station in the morning, your amazing floral adventure is ready to begin!

Your tour starts with a visit to Shihlin Official Residence, the residence of the former president Chiang Kai-shek. It was restored in the year 1996 and has been open to the public since then. The sophisticated gardening changes from season to season with different flowers and plants. If you are a gardening lover or gifted with green fingers, this place will inspire your creativity.

If time permits, you can visit the main building to see the exhibition at your own expense.

Yangmingshan National Park

The next stop is Yangminshan National Park, the “back yard” of Taipei City, also the 3rd national park in Taiwan, which is about 40-min drive from Shilin Official Residence.

The park is renowned for its volcanic landforms and the abundant natural vegetation. The flowers and plants change over seasons, and each season brings the park a different look; all year round, there are always beautiful flowers to blow your mind.

Yangmingshan National Park is also one of the first to witness the blooming of cherry blossom trees. From early February to early March, those pink flowering trees turn the park into a romantic pink world.

Zhuzihu

Home to Yangmingshan’s calla lily and hydrangea, Zhuzihu is a farming area hidden away in the mountains. It was originally a lava-dammed lake created by volcanic eruptions; the geological factors and fertile soil making Zhuzihu a suitable place for farming.

Besides the seasonal flowers, Zhuzihu is also well-known for the mountain vegetable cuisine. Since you are here in Zhuzihu, don’t miss the chance to try the local specialties. (lunch on your own expense)

Tian Yuen Temple

After lunch break, head off to the next stop—Tamsui Tian Yuan Temple in New Taipei City, which is about a 50-min drive from Yangmingshan National Park.

Tamsui Tian Yuan Temple is the most popular spot for cherry blossom viewing in New Taipei City. Hundreds of cherry blossom trees are planted around the temple, that creates the most aesthetic view of this season. Under the blooming trees of cherry blossom, the flurry of falling petals will take your breath away, and your eyes and spirit will be filled with so much joy for its beauty. Don’t forget to take some pictures to capture the romantic and peaceful moment!

Fisherman’s Wharf

Coming to the last stop, Fisherman’s Wharf is well known for its seafood, ferry riding, and the sunset view. It’s a romantic spot for photography. The fascinating sunset illuminating Lover’s Bridge will leave you speechless.
